This summer, Dubai’s Museum of the Future is transforming into a hub of culinary creativity with the launch of bkry’s first-ever pop-up bakery. Originally based in Alserkal Avenue, bkry brings its experimental baking space to one of the city’s most iconic cultural landmarks, offering visitors a unique opportunity to explore the future of food through taste, design, and storytelling.

A Vision for Sustainable Food
Running from 11 July to 31 August, the bkry pop-up is more than just a bakery—it’s a sensory journey into the future of baking. Designed as a physical extension of both bkry’s and the Museum’s shared values, the space emphasises sustainability, craftsmanship, and ethical sourcing. From stone milling-inspired interiors to thoughtfully curated product displays, every detail invites guests to reflect on conscious eating and responsible creation.
Interactive Experiences That Educate and Inspire
Visitors can engage with a series of interactive activations that spotlight key themes in food innovation: Regenerative Agriculture: Wildfarmed showcases how this practice is reshaping flour production.
Local Wheat Pioneers: Saba Sanabel introduces the UAE’s first organic wheat farm.
Food Upcycling: The Waste Lab offers hands-on sessions on transforming organic waste.
Ethical Chocolate Making: bkry Co-Founder Kameel Rasyid leads a guided experience in sustainable chocolate creation.
Each activation is designed to spark meaningful conversations around ingredients, waste, and the future of food design.
A Collaboration Rooted in Shared Values
The partnership between bkry and the Museum of the Future is a natural fit. Both institutions are driven by innovation, imagination, and a commitment to shaping a better tomorrow.
“bkry’s work reflects our mission to explore how every discipline, from science to food, can offer insight into the future,” said Maitha Al Mazroei, Head of Programming at the Museum.
“Food is a powerful tool for storytelling and change,” added Kameel Rasyid, echoing Maitha Al Mazroei’s sentiments. “This collaboration allows us to share not just our products, but the ideas and responsible practices behind them.”

A Menu that Marries Craft and Curiosity
The pop-up menu features bkry’s signature offerings, including fresh pastries and sourdough varieties, all-day breakfast, salads, mains, desserts, speciality drinks, and in-house treats.
Exclusive to the Museum of the Future are new spreads and desserts, such as milk chocolate made with Tanzanian, Ecuadorian, and Haitian cocoa, and bonbons in inventive flavours like Lemon Caramel & Roasted Sesame, Spiced Tea, and Croissant White Chocolate.
Celebrating Growth and Looking Ahead
As bkry celebrates its first anniversary, this pop-up marks a milestone in its journey and a bold step towards its future. Open daily from 9 am to 9 pm on the 7th floor of the Museum of the Future, the experience invites guests to indulge, learn, and imagine a more conscious culinary world.
