Jones the Grocer is set to host an exclusive Cheese and Wine Pairing Masterclass, offering an immersive evening of fine flavours and expert knowledge on Thursday, 25th April, starting at 7:30pm. The event will take place at the esteemed Emirates Golf Club venue, promising an experience that unites wine and cheese enthusiasts in an evening of discovery.
This one-off event will be guided by The Tasting Class experts, who will introduce guests to the intricacies of matching fine wines with a selection of artisan cheeses. Over the course of the evening, attendees will savour six wine varieties from around the world, each carefully chosen to complement the five different cheeses on offer.
For AED350 per person, participants will be treated to a journey through taste and smell, guided by a professional sommelier. The sommelier will share insights on recognising the nuanced characteristics of each wine, from the regional differences to the impact of vintage and provenance on the taste profile.
Guests will also learn the art of pairing wine with cheese, as they discover which types of cheese best match various wine styles. This immersive experience is perfect for those looking for a romantic date night, a lively gathering with friends, or simply a unique solo outing.
