A new Greek dining destination is arriving in Downtown Dubai this September, as Mykonos Dubai prepares to open its doors at Swissôtel Al Murooj.
Inspired by the food, atmosphere and relaxed hospitality of the Greek islands, the new restaurant and lounge will combine Mediterranean dining with a lively, social setting just moments from The Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa.
The interiors take their cues directly from Mykonos, with crisp white walls, cobalt blue accents, bougainvillea and natural textures creating an Aegean-inspired escape in the heart of the city.
Food is centred around the Greek tradition of sharing. The menu begins with hot and cold mezze, including tzatziki, tirokafteri, saganaki, grilled halloumi, stuffed vine leaves, calamari and garlic shrimp.
From the grill, diners can expect chicken and lamb souvlaki, lamb chops, beef tenderloin, ribeye and Wagyu striploin, while seafood options include grilled seabass, king prawns, octopus, seafood linguine and lobster pasta.
Larger groups can opt for generous sharing dishes including the Meat Platter, Seafood Platter and signature Royal Mykonos Platter, followed by classics such as baklava, Greek yoghurt with honey and pistachio cheesecake.
The experience will extend beyond the table, with shisha and DJ entertainment giving Mykonos Dubai a more energetic feel as the evening progresses.
“We wanted to create a restaurant that captures the spirit of Mykonos and the warmth of Greek hospitality, where people can come together over food and genuinely enjoy their time around the table,” says Vandy Facundo, General Manager of Mykonos Dubai.
Located at Swissôtel Al Murooj, Downtown Dubai, Mykonos Dubai is set to open in September 2026, with the official opening date still to be announced.
