Three UAE Openings We’re Excited About

Here are three openings firmly on our radar.

The UAE’s hospitality calendar is gathering momentum for the final months of 2026. Six Senses is preparing to open its first resort in the country, Beirut favourite Cyrano is moving into City Walk, and a home-grown wellness concept is drawing on centuries of Arab thought to propose a different model for restoration.

Six Senses The Palm, Dubai

Six Senses will make its UAE debut in Q4 2026 with a beachfront resort on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah. With only 61 suites, Six Senses The Palm has a notably intimate footprint for a Dubai resort, supported by a 24-hour Guest Experience Maker service and personalised concierge assistance.

Its modern architecture incorporates stone, timber and regional craftsmanship, with sand-toned interiors that respond to the coastal setting. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Arabian Gulf, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai skyline, while private terraces extend many of the suites outdoors. Some also come with their own pools. Families and larger groups can book the 350-square-metre Three-Bedroom Private Reserve, complete with a dining room, open kitchen, lounge, private pool and terrace.

Wellbeing sits at the centre of the property. The 5,500-square-metre Six Senses Spa will span indoor and outdoor areas, with eight treatment rooms, an indoor lap pool, hammam, vitality pool circuit, Finnish and infrared saunas, a movement studio and a Biohacking Recovery Lounge. The resort will also partner with Nova Clinic to combine modern diagnostics with holistic practices and personalised longevity programmes.

Elsewhere, guests can take part in yoga, meditation, breathwork and sound healing across the gardens and beachfront. The Alchemy Bar will host hands-on wellbeing experiences, while younger guests will have access to family wellness activities, age-appropriate treatments, a children’s club, playground, pool and splash pad.

Sustainability has also influenced the property’s construction and daily operations. Native and climate-adaptive planting will help regulate its outdoor areas, while greywater will be treated and reused for irrigation. The resort is introducing a zero single-use plastic policy, an on-site water system, composting facilities and organic gardens. Earth Lab will bring these ideas into public-facing workshops on upcycling, waste reduction and responsible consumption. Six Senses The Palm will also allocate 0.5 per cent of its revenue to environmental and social projects through a dedicated Sustainability Fund.

The dining line-up includes Mediterranean-inspired LOÄM, the all-day EVY Lounge, intimate drinks venue Two12 and a restaurant and bar by the pool and beach. ROKA will take its contemporary Japanese robatayaki to the resort’s sky garden, with views across the Palm and Gulf.

Cyrano Maison Sociale

Beirut’s Cyrano is crossing into Dubai later this year, bringing a new European social house to City Walk. The opening marks the latest addition to Lebanese hospitality group Butlers & Co and its first Cyrano address in the city.

Cyrano Maison Sociale will bring a bar, brasserie and dining room under one roof, moving from breakfast and social lunches to late-afternoon aperitivo, dinner and evening drinks. Its progression through the day is central to the concept, giving guests several reasons to return rather than treating the restaurant as a single-occasion destination.

The menu travels across Europe through French brasserie staples, Mediterranean influences and Spanish-style sharing plates. Chorizo croquettes, beef tartare, tuna crudo and a warm lobster roll lead the opening selection, followed by grilled seabass, steak au poivre, homemade linguine and fish and chips. An extensive wine list will accompany classic and signature cocktails, with a dedicated aperitivo selection designed for the late afternoon.

The social side extends beyond food and drink. A regular programme of design, music and culinary collaborations will bring different creative communities into the restaurant, while tableside guéridon service adds a dash of old-school brasserie theatre.

City Walk already has the footfall and neighbourhood character needed for an all-day gathering place. Cyrano’s combination of Lebanese hospitality and European café culture could make it a particularly natural addition.

KHUN

KHUN may be the most intriguing opening of the three. The UAE-founded preventive wellness company will welcome its first guests in Fujairah in Q4 2026, introducing a 48-hour experience informed by Arab traditions of health, environment and restoration.

The concept takes inspiration from the historic bimaristan, where architecture, landscape, light, water and routine formed part of the therapeutic process. It also draws from the writings of Ibn Sina, Al-Razi and Al-Ghazali, whose work examined the relationship between a person’s surroundings, balance and human flourishing.

KHUN translates those ideas through architect-designed, deployable sanctuaries placed in remote natural landscapes. The structures can be relocated with minimal impact on the land, allowing the company to create temporary settings without permanently reshaping their surroundings.

There are no classes or prescribed itineraries. Each 48-hour stay uses architecture, landscape and khalwah, the practice of intentional solitude, to establish its cadence. Light, thermal contrast and nutritional simplicity contribute to the experience, with Arab perspectives on health informing everything from the spatial design to the menu.

At the heart of KHUN is afiyah, described by the company as a state of wholeness shaped by our relationship with the world around us. That philosophy gives the project cultural substance at a time when many wellness concepts rely on increasingly familiar treatments and programmes.

Its first Fujairah location remains partly under wraps, with further details expected in the coming months. For now, its combination of regional scholarship, environmental design and intentional solitude makes KHUN one of the UAE’s most compelling upcoming arrivals.
