Unveiling SACRA: A New Global Standard in Ultra-Luxury Wellness Has Just Been Set

An exclusive conversation with Eugenia Batrak, Vice President of the Wellness & Spa Division at Bulldozer Group

For years, the name Bulldozer Group has been synonymous with prestige dining and lifestyle in the UAE. With celebrated venues that have shaped Dubai’s culinary landscape, including the Michelin Guide-listed Dragonfly, and a growing presence across Europe, the group has earned its place as an international tastemaker in luxury hospitality.

Now, Bulldozer Group is embarking on an entirely new journey, one that moves beyond the table and into the realm of body, mind, and spirit. Enter SACRA, an ultra-luxury wellness concept unlike anything the world has seen. Launching its flagship in Dubai, SACRA promises a reimagined approach to self-care, blending Slavic tradition with contemporary design and innovation.

At the helm is Eugenia Batrak, Vice President of the Wellness & Spa Division, whose vision for SACRA goes far beyond the conventional idea of a spa. With an eye for detail and a passion for authenticity, Batrak is curating an experience designed to be transformative, immersive, and deeply soulful.

More Than a Spa, A Sanctuary

Step inside SACRA and the world outside begins to fade. The experience is guided by a philosophy rooted in the Russian banya, a centuries-old ritual that celebrates purification and renewal. Every element has been reinterpreted for a modern audience: wood-built steam rooms with hand-crafted furnaces, traditional venik rituals that stimulate circulation and energy, and parenia steam ceremonies that transport guests into a state of total release.

This foundation is enriched with a symphony of wellness experiences: salt grottos carved from pink and white crystals, floating therapies that mimic the sensation of weightlessness, hammam rituals steeped in heritage, and signature massages designed to restore balance. SACRA is not a quick escape, but an all-day retreat.

The Sacred Inspiration

The very name of the brand reflects its philosophy. “SACRA,” derived from the word sacred, speaks to the purity of the journey. For Batrak, wellness is not indulgence, but devotion. “Wellness should be a sacred part of life, a space where body, mind, and soul align,” she explains.

This reverence permeates the design as well. Every architectural detail has been considered to create not only a beautiful environment but a purposeful one. SACRA is envisioned as a temple of restoration where luxury becomes an act of self-respect.

Why Dubai, Why Now

Dubai, with its reputation as a global hub of ambition and extravagance, was chosen to house SACRA’s debut. Yet for Batrak, the decision was not simply about geography. “Dubai mirrors the ambition and essence of SACRA perfectly,” she says. “It is a city that celebrates the extraordinary, and yet until now, there was nothing like SACRA here.”

By opening in Dubai, SACRA positions itself at the intersection of tradition and innovation, offering residents and visitors alike an experience that is at once global and deeply cultural.

London on the Horizon

The journey does not end in Dubai. SACRA’s next chapter is set to unfold in London, where the brand will adapt to the city’s unique cadence. The London flagship will feature both public access and a members-only sanctuary, complete with four private suites reserved for the most discerning guests. Snowrooms, hyperbaric chambers, and immersive wellness therapies will complement SACRA’s signature banya and ritualistic offerings.

The aim, Batrak explains, is not to replicate Dubai but to echo SACRA’s philosophy through a London lens, marrying heritage with the city’s cosmopolitan energy.

Redefining Luxury Wellness

Luxury wellness has evolved. Once synonymous with pampering, it has become about presence, intention, and transformation. SACRA embodies this new era by creating immersive journeys that nourish body, mind, and spirit.

“Every detail is intentional,” Batrak says. “From ancient rituals to mindful dining and floating therapies, we are creating experiences that linger, that truly change the way people feel long after they leave.”

Crafting a Culture, Not Just a Spa

What truly sets SACRA apart is its commitment to depth and authenticity. Beyond creating spaces, the group has established its own school to train Banchik therapists, blending wellness science with traditional ritual practice. “We have built more than a spa,” says Batrak. “We have built a culture.”

This commitment to expertise ensures every element of SACRA is rooted in knowledge as much as design, offering a seamless fusion of tradition and innovation.

A Personal Journey

For Batrak, SACRA is profoundly personal. She has guided the project from its earliest concept to its final design, overseeing every aspect from branding to technical execution. “SACRA is a reflection of my passion and belief in creating spaces that are not only beautiful but purposeful,” she reflects.

The Legacy of SACRA

Looking ahead, Batrak envisions SACRA as a global movement, with each location becoming a cultural landmark in its own right. From Dubai to London and beyond, the mission remains clear: to elevate wellness into a way of life.

“We are not just creating spa houses,” she says. “We are building destinations where people can reconnect with themselves, where wellness becomes an essential, soulful part of living.”
