Flu season has officially hit Dubai, and if there’s one dish we’re craving right now, it’s a steaming bowl of ramen.
UK cult-favourite Maki & Ramen has just made its Middle East debut at Mövenpick Hotel JVT, bringing its award-winning, slow-cooked broths and sushi to the UAE for the very first time. Think sesame-rich Tan Tan Men with chilli oil and marinated egg, comforting signature ramen bowls and their punchy spicy tuna hand rolls, exactly the kind of soul-soothing food you want when you’re feeling run down.
Just in time for Ramadan, Maki & Ramen has also introduced an Iftar Feast for One (AED 168), available from sunset throughout the Holy Month, featuring a selection of sharing plates, and their choice of signature ramen, donburi or yakisoba.
Sexy Fish Dubai Unveils More Than Brunch in Red
Crimson Red Brunch, the latest chapter of More Than Brunch, Sexy Fish’s monthly, colour-led brunch series, runs from 14 February to 28 March at the iconic DIFC destination. As part of the Crimson Red Brunch, Sexy Fish’s iconic Candy Room is reimagined as a dedicated dessert space, showcasing monochrome red creations presented as edible art. The brunch experience is further elevated by dancers in flowing red costumes, moving through the venue alongside curated lighting and visual moments that heighten the sense of theatre throughout the afternoon.
Guests are invited to step into the experience themselves, encouraged to embrace the red themed dress code and become part of the spectacle. Adding a playful element of anticipation, chocolate bars are placed on each table, with one discreet Golden Ticket hidden inside, gifting one lucky guest a Coral Brunch for two at a future experience. Completing the experience, Crimson Red pairs its immersive visual world with Sexy Fish’s signature dining journey.
