Soak Up the Vibes at TUMBI Hotel’s Matcha Party
TUMBI Hotel Dubai The Palm is debuting its Coffee Matcha Party, part of the new dEATox Café wellness event series, on 6 December from 1pm onwards. Shangri-La Dubai is switching on the season this weekend with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on 9 December at 6.30pm. The lobby turns into a warm, festive space with carols, seasonal canapés and a visit from Mr. Claus himself. The highlight this year is a performance by the award-winning GEMS student band, bringing a nice community touch to the evening. It is the perfect way to usher in the holiday season, filled with warmth, cheer and a touch of magic.

Book an Omakase-Style Indian Tasting at Arcadia by Amala
Arcadia by Amala is back for the season, and it’s an easy pick if you’re in the mood for a dinner that feels a little different. The restaurant has reopened with an 11-course Indian tasting menu created by Chef Pravish Shetty, who brings a sharp, modern touch to regional flavours. The dishes draw from the resort’s hydroponic farm and the whole experience is served omakase-style.
The room has a warm, intimate feel, and the tandoor is in clear view, which adds a nice sense of theatre without being over the top. At the end, guests leave with a small “Atlas of Arcadia” box with a menu guide, a dessert and even a curated playlist, a thoughtful little send-off that keeps the experience going.
