Louvre Abu Dhabi Launches ‘Art in Scents’
This October, Louvre Abu Dhabi invites visitors on a sensory journey where masterpieces are reimagined through the language of fragrance. In collaboration with global perfume house Givaudan, the museum’s new Art in Scents experience transforms 10 iconic artworks into bespoke scents from ancient Egyptian rituals to 19th-century Parisian salons. Visitors can explore the olfactory tour through a guided experience and a limited-edition Art in Scents booklet that releases each artwork’s aroma with every page turn. On 25 October, join perfumers Dalia Izem and Gaël Montero for a special talk revealing how visual art becomes scent.
