There is a different energy in London when Fashion Week arrives.
From the first show of the morning to the final event of the evening, the city becomes a meeting point for designers, models, editors, buyers, celebrities, creatives and fashion lovers from around the world.
This season, London Fashion Week takes place from Thursday 17 to Monday 21 September 2026, with the official programme bringing together established British fashion houses, emerging designers, presentations, cultural events and retail activations across the capital.
The event is organised by the British Fashion Council, with the official LFW digital platform providing the latest schedule and designer information.

What to expect this season
September’s edition is shaping up to be an especially significant one for British fashion.
One of the biggest stories is the return of McQueen to London Fashion Week, with Seán McGirr presenting his first London show for the house. Mulberry will also return, with Christopher Kane making his debut collection for the brand.
The official schedule also includes major British names including Burberry, Emilia Wickstead, Erdem, Harris Reed, Richard Quinn, Roksanda and Simone Rocha, alongside a new generation of designers and emerging talent.
Among the BFC NEWGEN designers making their LFW debut are Francesca Lake, Gui Rosa and Petra Fagerström, while Fashion East returns to the schedule to spotlight emerging creative talent.
There will also be plenty happening beyond the traditional catwalk.
J.L-A.L will present its SS27 collection through an immersive experience, while 5000, the Paul Smith Foundation American designer-in-residence, will combine fashion with sound and music. H&M is set to work with photographer Nick Knight and SHOWstudio on a special event, while eBay returns with its pre-loved Endless Runway.
And, in a particularly interesting move for the high street, Marks & Spencer will make its London Fashion Week debut, presenting a ‘see now, buy now’ collection during its centenary year.

By Friday, London Fashion Week is fully underway, with designers, press and buyers moving between shows and presentations across the city.
Expect a mixture of established names and emerging labels, with much of the excitement happening both inside and outside the official venues.
Saturday 19 September
The weekend begins
Saturday is traditionally one of the busiest days of Fashion Week, bringing some of the biggest names and most anticipated shows to the calendar.
It is also when London’s street style really comes into its own, with guests arriving at shows becoming part of the fashion story themselves.
Sunday 20 September
Big names and new ideas
Sunday continues the momentum with further shows, presentations and events, including designers pushing fashion beyond the traditional runway format.
For fashion followers, it is a chance to discover the names that may be shaping the next generation of British fashion.
Monday 21 September
The final day
The final day brings London Fashion Week to a close, but not before another round of collections, presentations and events across the capital.
Five days later, the question becomes less about what was shown and more about what will actually influence fashion beyond the runway.
Where is London Fashion Week?
Unlike a single fashion week venue, LFW takes place across London.
The official production information for September 2026 lists 180 The Strand as the main venue for shows and presentations, while other events and activations take place elsewhere across the city.
That is part of London’s appeal.
Fashion Week doesn’t completely remove itself from the city. Instead, it becomes part of it.
You see it in hotel lobbies, restaurants, taxis, galleries, shops and on the streets around the venues.
Can you attend London Fashion Week?
Some LFW shows and events are invitation-only, particularly industry presentations and catwalks.
However, London Fashion Week has become increasingly accessible through digital content, livestreams, retail activations, exhibitions and public-facing events.
The official LFW digital platform is freely accessible to industry professionals and fashion consumers, providing a year-round destination to discover designers and collections.
