This January, Henry Jacques takes up a quiet yet captivating residence at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, inviting guests into a world where perfume, artistry and hospitality unfold with intention. Open until 2 February 2026, the ephemeral installation transforms the Palace hotel’s grand lobby into a space for reflection, conversation and sensorial discovery.

At once discreet and deeply expressive, the experience reflects a shared philosophy between two French institutions that believe true luxury lies in time, care and an unwavering attention to detail.

Where Two Houses Speak the Same Language

Henry Jacques has long approached perfumery as something to be lived rather than simply worn. Each of its spaces is designed as a home, welcoming visitors to slow down, explore and engage. Fragrances are revealed alongside art and archival pieces, allowing stories, memories and emotions to surface naturally.

Central to the Maison’s identity is a culture of Sur-Mesure service. Every guest is guided with intuition and warmth, creating an experience that feels personal, considered and sincere. It is a sensibility that mirrors the spirit of Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, a hotel that feels less like a destination and more like a living, breathing cultural space.

Here, hospitality is expressive and creative, shaped by art, gastronomy and human connection. For both Houses, refinement is found not in excess, but in the small gestures that linger.

Folia Vitae: A Living Work of Art

At the heart of the installation is Folia Vitae, or Leaves of Life, a sculptural piece that gently anchors the experience. Conceived by Henry Jacques Artistic Director Christophe Tollemer and set designer Margot Cremona, the work embodies the Maison’s vision of Haute Parfumerie Vivante.

Shaped as a circular tree measuring 140 centimetres in diameter, the sculpture bears perfumes as its fruits. More than 1,000 plaster leaves and fruits, each cast from real plants, come together in a display of remarkable craftsmanship. From every angle, the piece reveals something new, inviting visitors to move around it, pause, and simply observe.

Nature and imagination meet in quiet harmony, echoing the way Henry Jacques approaches perfumery as something alive, evolving and deeply human.

Experiencing the Fragrance, One Moment at a Time

Beyond contemplation, guests are invited to step further into the world of Henry Jacques. From Thursday to Saturday, between 4pm and 8pm, expert perfumers guide visitors through Les Classiques, the Maison’s iconic fragrance collection. Each scent becomes an emotional chapter, unfolding slowly and intuitively.

The experience continues at Le Bar Long, where bespoke cocktail and mocktail pairings offer an unexpected dialogue between fragrance and flavour, revealing new dimensions of the compositions.

For those drawn to a more personal exploration, Sur-Mesure consultations are available. These intimate olfactive styling sessions take place either in a private suite at Le Royal Monceau or at the Henry Jacques boutique on Avenue Montaigne, offering a rare opportunity to shape a fragrance journey that is entirely one’s own.

A Shared Sense of Art de Vivre

By bringing its world into Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, Henry Jacques extends an invitation rather than a statement. It is a gesture rooted in generosity, offering guests a moment of beauty and presence within their stay.

Both Houses share a belief that luxury is felt most deeply when it is lived slowly, with intention and care. In this fleeting yet memorable collaboration, perfume becomes a language, craftsmanship a conversation, and hospitality a quiet form of art.
