MMI’s Launches Cheers United

The city’s social fabric often finds its strength in the collective and MMI’s latest initiative, Cheers United, is a testament to that spirit of communal support. Launched this April, the program acts as a bridge between Dubai’s residents and over 50 of its most beloved homegrown and international venues. By utilising the MMI Cheers Club App, guests can unlock a selection of experiences that range from sunset drinks at beach clubs to long lunches at city staples.
What makes this particularly compelling is the structured weekly dining concept, which offers a rotating schedule of value-driven evenings. From Mondays at La Mezcaleria to Fridays at CLAP, the initiative features drinks starting at AED 29 alongside reduced bar bites, encouraging a steady return to the city’s dining rooms and lounges throughout the week. Beyond these daily highlights, the app provides significant incentives at a variety of destinations, including 25% off à la carte dining at the likes of Bussola and Amazonico, or 30% off at Treehouse. As Group CEO Tyrone Reid notes, the effort is rooted in making the city’s world-class hospitality more accessible, fostering a renewed sense of discovery for both new hidden gems and long-standing favourites.

Saba Plant-Based Introduces A Lighter Approach to Gut Health

Local wellness pioneer Saba Plant-Based is expanding its probiotic portfolio with the launch of Dubai’s first locally made Water Kefir. This new addition offers a crisp, dairy-free alternative to traditional kefir, designed to be lighter on the stomach while maintaining a high concentration of live probiotics. Unlike the brand’s original coconut-based kefir, this water-based version features a subtly sweet and tangy profile, reminiscent of a fruity soda, making it an ideal refreshment as the warmer months approach.
Handcrafted in small batches, the Water Kefir is available in two vibrant flavours: Blue Spirulina with Lemon Mint and Dragon Fruit, Strawberry with a hint of Lemon. Beyond its refreshing taste, the drink is formulated to support immune health, hydration and nutrient absorption. Alongside this launch, the brand has also introduced Apple Cider Vinegar shots infused with cardamom and ginger, further cementing its role as a household name in the region’s organic sector. Both the Water Kefir (AED 15-16) and the ACV shots (AED 10-11) are now available on the Saba Plant-Based website and at major UAE retailers, including Spinneys, Waitrose and Kibsons.

Hydration with Purpose: Ourwatr x Keeta UAE

Homegrown startup Ourwatr has partnered with on-demand delivery platform Keeta UAE to expand its free mineral water programme. Sourced from the natural underground springs of Dibba, Ourwatr is built on the belief that hydration should give back, for every bottle distributed, a portion is directed toward community initiatives in partnership with the Beit Al Khair Society.
This strategic partnership allows Keeta to provide the essential resources needed to scale the reach of this impactful initiative. By supporting local SME ecosystems, the collaboration ensures that premium, locally bottled water bearing the Emirates Quality Mark (EQM) reaches a broader audience across key neighbourhoods in Dubai. It is a thoughtful example of how modern platforms can align growth with community-first priorities, turning a simple bottle of water into a vehicle for sustained local support.
Bellaplage Partners with Six Hounds

Dubai-born beachwear brand Bellaplage has announced a month-long collaboration with Six Hounds and Co to support animal rescue efforts across the UAE. Throughout April, the brand has pledged to donate 50% of all online sales to aid in the care, treatment and rehabilitation of abandoned animals. This initiative addresses the rising pressure on privately owned shelters, which often rely heavily on community support to manage an increasing number of rescue cases and urgent medical needs.
By transforming everyday purchases into direct financial support, founders Marilyne Morin and Natalia Huber aim to use their platform to make a tangible difference in the lives of animals undergoing long-term recovery. Six Hounds and Co, which is CSR-licensed and MOCCAE-registered, provides a home-like environment for these animals, some of whom require intensive, years-long rehabilitation before they can be rehomed.
