Father’s Day Plans in Dubai and Beyond

Father’s Day is coming up, and if you’re still figuring out how to celebrate the father figure in your life, there are plenty of ways to do it beyond the usual last-minute gift run.

Here’s where to book, dine and shop for Father’s Day.

Lush’s Father’s Day Collection

Lush carries the freshest Father’s Day finds for dads that are simply the best. A collection of pampering products, gifts, and all-year-round favourites that create a multitude of gift offerings for every kind of father figure.

Highlights include the “Nice Beard!” grooming kit featuring beard oil, facial wash and moisturiser, along with products such as the “Shrimply The Best” bath bomb, “Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy” bubble bar and the “Stormy Weather” gift set.

The collection is now available across stores in the UAE and Bahrain.

A Fragrance Gift He’ll Definitely Reach For

Canéza offers two distinct options for fathers with different scent personalities. Uomo with a polished, sophisticated profile that works just as well in the office as it does for dinner plans, making it an easy everyday signature. Mezmar Men, meanwhile, takes a bolder approach with a more expressive character.

And while it may be intended for Dad, there’s a good chance Mum will end up stealing a few spritzes too. Whether you’re planning ahead or leaving it until the very last minute, Canéza’s fragrances are available to shop online.

Raise a Glass to Dad at CQ French Brasserie

Whether they’re a mentor, provider, coach, comedian, chauffeur, problem-solver or somehow all of the above, father figures wear many hats. This Father’s Day, CQ French Brasserie is making sure they get the celebration they deserve. CQ’s popular Gentleman’s Menu is being extended especially for Father’s Day and will be available all day, at both its JLT and Barsha Heights locations.

Priced at AED 275 per dad, the offer includes a choice of hearty French mains such as the restaurant’s much-loved Steak Frites, Raclette Burger and Pappardelle aux Champignons et Truffes, paired with either a bottle of premium grape or two pints of draft hops. Those looking to make an occasion of it can add one of CQ’s signature starters for AED 39 and round things off with the dessert of the day for AED 35.

Available from 15 June until the end of the month, it’s a lovely excuse to turn the tables and treat the father figure in your life, whether that’s dad, grandad or someone who’s simply always shown up when it mattered most. After all, they’ve earned the dad jokes, the remote control and, most importantly, a really good meal.

Treat Dad to a Long Lunch at Nobu One Za’abeel

For families planning a more elevated Father’s Day lunch, Nobu One Za’abeel has recently launched its new Lunch Above the City experience.

Available Friday to Sunday from 12 to 3:30pm, the set menu is priced at AED 159 per person and includes welcome bites, a starter, main, side dish and dessert. Expect signature Nobu dishes including yellowtail jalapeño, salmon tataki, assorted sushi and rolls, duck breast with orange miso and truffle rice, all served against sweeping Dubai skyline views.

On 20 June, Hillhouse Brasserie will host a Lego-style workshop where children can build mini figures of themselves and their dads, with personalised picture frames to take home. Fathers attending will also receive complimentary grooming kits and discount vouchers from 1847 Executive Grooming for Men on a first-come, first-served basis.

The following day, all three venues will offer Father’s Day roast specials alongside a deal of three Heineken draught pints for AED 99. Selected venues will also include complimentary express massage chair experiences for dads.
