Egyptian jewellery brand Azza Fahmy’s latest chapter in the Wonders of Nature collection is a poetic tribute to the emotional depth and expressive power of flowers. Head Designer Amina Ghali drew inspiration from her travels across the Philippines, Vietnam, and Cambodia, where she witnessed nature thriving in unexpected places – from ancient temples to narrow city streets.
Symbolism and Craftsmanship at the Core
Each piece in the collection is rooted in detailed research into floral symbolism, featuring blooms such as lotus, daisy, jasmine, and the four-petal flower. These motifs are paired with Azza Fahmy’s signature Arabic calligraphy and expert craftsmanship, creating pieces that embody joy, peace, love, and blessing.
Signature Pieces That Tell a Story
Signature pieces from the collection include the Gold Garden of Happiness Choker, featuring hand-carved lotus flowers and roses linked together in a graceful garland. The Arabic word for “happiness” anchors the design, which also incorporates Indian influences inspired by Ghali’s annual visits to India.
The Daisy Gemstone Ring bursts with vibrant 18kt gold and three-dimensional daisies, offering a playful yet refined charm that suits a diverse range of styles.
Crafted in 18kt gold and sterling silver, the Love & Peace Bangle features both words in flowing calligraphy, surrounded by daisies and ears of wheat that symbolise harmony and abundance.
Floral Elegance
The Bouquet of Blessings Earrings feature hand-carved daisies and jasmine paired with foliage engraved with the word “blessing”, and adorned with floral pink amethysts to evoke the freshness of spring.
The Flower Garden Ring showcases a radiant custom-cut amethyst that sits at the heart of the piece, framed by sculpted daisies and jasmine flowers on a sterling silver band – capturing nature in mid-blossom.
