The accompanying exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” delved into the role of sartorial elegance in shaping Black identities. Divided into 12 sections, including “Ownership,” “Presence,” and “Freedom,” the exhibit showcased the evolution and significance of Black dandyism from the 18th century to the present.
