The Chef Behind the Dubai Chocolate Phenomenon

Chef Nouel Catis rose to culinary fame after his signature pistachio kunafa chocolate went viral, capturing the hearts (and taste buds) of dessert lovers across the Middle East. With over a decade of experience in the region’s luxury dessert scene, he launched his own brand and sister company Sna’ap in October 2024, continuing his mission to tell stories through sweets.

A Taste of Salalah, Reimagined in Chocolate

Crafted with distinctly Omani ingredients, including frankincense harvested in Salalah and a sweet coconut katayef blend, this chocolate bar is a tribute to Dhofar’s natural bounty. Chef Nouel’s concept combines tradition with luxury, delivering a delicate harmony of tropical warmth and aromatic spice—all in one silky bite.

This extraordinary creation will be available exclusively at Al Mina, the resort’s beachside Mediterranean restaurant, open daily from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy the chocolate bar at OMR 6, offering a gourmet souvenir of their monsoon escape.
