The September Luxury Edit

September has brought a new round of launches and creative developments across fashion, jewellery and watchmaking. From a Moroccan label looking to New Delhi’s craft traditions for its next chapter to a high jewellery collection inspired by some of history’s most powerful women, here are five stories worth knowing this month.

Osoul Looks to New Delhi for Its Next Creative Chapter

Luxury

For Moroccan fashion label Osoul, research begins outside the studio. Designer Kenza Naguib recently travelled to New Delhi, spending time in ateliers and working with artisans to explore fabrics, colour, embroidery and traditional techniques.

Rather than serving as inspiration for a single collection, the trip forms part of the broader research process behind the brand. Naguib observed embroiderers practising skills passed down through generations and explored how different approaches to colour, texture and detail could inform Osoul’s own creative vocabulary. The research is already feeding into the label’s upcoming Pre-Fall collection.

Moroccan craftsmanship remains central to Osoul, which produces handcrafted, size-free pieces in limited quantities, but the New Delhi trip points to an increasingly expansive approach to how the label develops its collections.

Boghossian Crowns 11 Women in Queens of Time

Boghossian has turned to history for Queens of Time, a new high jewellery collection inspired by eleven women who ruled across different kingdoms and eras. The resulting 39 pieces draw upon the jewellery, symbolism and cultural worlds associated with figures including Cleopatra VII, Queen Seondeok of Silla, Elizabeth I, Mumtaz Mahal and Catherine the Great.

The interpretations move well beyond portraiture. Cleopatra’s love of pearls informs a golden yellow mother-of-pearl necklace centred around a light yellow lozenge diamond and 18 yellow Asscher-cut diamonds. For Mumtaz Mahal, Boghossian combines white jade, jasper, agate, Zambian emeralds carved in Jaipur and tawiz-shaped diamonds, referencing the architecture and adornment of the Mughal court.

The collection follows 2024’s Palace Voyages and marks a more personal direction for CEO Albert Boghossian and Creative Director Edmond Chin, using jewellery to examine how women across centuries expressed status, identity and power.

Pasquale Bruni Turns a Father-Daughter Trip Into Accendimi

A visit to New York became the starting point for Pasquale Bruni’s latest jewellery collection. While visiting his daughter Eugenia, Bruni began exchanging ideas with her about a design centred on fire, eventually developing Accendimi together.

Fire runs through the collection as a metaphor for energy, transformation and the experiences that reignite something within us. That idea is translated into pared-back rings and bracelets whose open forms culminate in rounded, gem-set tips, as shown throughout the collection imagery.

There is also a generational story behind the pieces. The collaboration between Pasquale and Eugenia brings two creative perspectives together, turning a family relationship and an impromptu conversation in New York into the basis of a new chapter for the Italian jewellery house.

Parmigiani Fleurier Gives the TONDA PF Skeleton a Milano Blue Makeover

Parmigiani Fleurier also has a new release this month, and scarcity is very much part of the proposition. The TONDA PF Skeleton Rose Gold in Milano Blue will be produced in an edition of only 30 pieces.

The 40mm watch combines an 18-carat rose-gold case and integrated bracelet with a Milano Blue openworked dial, allowing the architecture of the PF777 manufacture movement to become part of the design. Its 192 components have been arranged within a calibre measuring just 3.9mm thick, with a 60-hour power reserve and a skeletonised 22-carat rose-gold oscillating weight.

Sandblasted and satin-finished surfaces create contrast across the blue dial, while rose-gold indices and skeletonised delta-shaped hands sit above the exposed mechanics. The case measures 8.5mm thick and offers water resistance to 100 metres.

Pandora Looks to the Zodiac for Its Latest Talisman Collection

Pandora is taking its Talisman collection into astrological territory, introducing zodiac medallions, articulated rings and chain necklaces designed around ideas of identity and self-expression. Crafted in sterling silver and 14-karat gold plating, the new pieces have an intentionally timeworn appearance, with mixed metals, textured finishes and details that resemble unearthed artefacts.

Each zodiac medallion interprets the character associated with its sign, while additional charms draw upon the four elements of earth, water, air and fire. Elsewhere, fragments of man-made mother of pearl, carved cameos, stone constellations and concealed Latin inscriptions build on the collection’s talismanic theme. One of the more playful pieces is the rotating Sun and Moon Flip Ring, inscribed with the Latin sentiment translated by the brand as “Through hardships to the stars.”

Designed for stacking and layering, the collection also includes an adjustable T-bar necklace that can carry different pendants, allowing the jewellery to change according to its wearer.

Taggy and Reloved Join Forces for Circular Fashion in the UAE

Two homegrown circular fashion platforms are joining forces. Taggy has merged with Reloved, bringing Reloved’s resale community and local market experience into Taggy’s technology-led platform. The combined business will operate under the Taggy name, with Reloved founder Annie Stacey joining its leadership team as Chief Operating Officer.

Founded in 2024, Reloved has built a community of approximately 3,000 customers and sellers in the UAE. Taggy, meanwhile, has more than 8,100 registered users and has listed over 9,000 items to date. Existing Reloved customers will have the opportunity to move their accounts and products across to Taggy.

The merger comes as both businesses pursue a similar goal, making resale a more accessible part of how people shop for fashion in the UAE. Taggy plans to continue investing in technology, customer experience and services tailored to the local market, with the combined platform aiming to make selling easier while giving shoppers a more contemporary way to discover pre-owned fashion.
