From immersive rainforest encounters and MICHELIN-starred plant-forward feasts to luxury hotel activations, the city is offering residents and visitors a thoughtful lineup of ways to celebrate the planet and in many cases, save a dirham or two doing it. Here’s where to be this Earth Day.
Jumeirah Marks Earth Day With “Small Hands, Big Impact”

Jumeirah, one of the world’s most recognised luxury hospitality names, is going all in for Earth Day 2026 with a sweeping global programme spanning properties from London and Mallorca to Bali, the Maldives, and China, with two standout Dubai experiences at its heart.
Under the campaign name “Small Hands, Big Impact,” the brand is centring children and families in its Earth Day story. At Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, young guests are invited on an immersive environmental journey through the hotel’s Kids Club. The experience unfolds in four stages, an ocean clean-up activity spotlighting marine conservation, a creative reuse workshop where waste is transformed into something new, a personal pledge wall where children commit to protecting the planet and finally a seed-planting session to take home as a green reminder of the day.
At Jumeirah Al Naseem, the focus shifts to conscious dining. KAYTO restaurant presents a special Earth Day edition of its Nagomi Lunch, a plant-forward Nikkei menu inspired by the world’s Blue Zones, those remarkable regions known for the longevity and balance of their communities. Created by Chef Cláudio Cardoso, highlights include smoked yuca with roasted sweet potato and quinoa, seabream ceviche with citrus and rocoto and a delicate physalis kakigori to close.
It’s a rare combination, luxury hospitality, environmental education and genuinely great cuisine, all under one roof (or rather, two).

The Green Planet Dubai’s Week Of Nature-Led Experiences

The Green Planet Dubai, the region’s only indoor tropical rainforest biodome, is hosting a full week of nature-led programming from 18 to 26 April.
Step inside and you’re immediately surrounded by a thriving ecosystem with purple starlings, colour-shifting panther chameleons, flying foxes, and hundreds of other species that call the biodome home. For Earth Week, the experience is layered with structured educational sessions covering ecosystems and biodiversity, conservation success stories, and practical everyday actions that visitors can take to protect the planet.
Young explorers can try eco-games and hands-on seed planting, attend interactive sessions led by the biodome’s resident animal specialist, meet the beloved Friends of the Rainforest mascots, and even win prizes along the way.
And for UAE residents, there’s a special incentive to make the trip, a discounted entry rate of just AED 129, making it one of the most value-packed family outings of the season.
