MAD Hospitality Unveils PHAT: A Foodie Revolution

In a culinary landscape that continually evolves, MAD Hospitality, a pioneering force in the food scene, is set to usher in a fresh and exciting era this month with the launch of PHAT. This gastronomic sensation promises to transcend the ordinary, offering an electrifying journey at the epicentre of urban culture.

Rooted in the DNA of MAD Hospitality is a bold fusion of street-smart coolness and culinary expertise, drawing inspiration from the dynamic street food scenes of South Korea and China. PHAT’s menu is divided into four distinct sections: breakfast, bao, bowl, dessert, and drinks. Among the standout dishes are the creamy Miso Udon Carbonara (priced at Dhs35), featuring crispy beef bacon and green onions, the tender Pulled BBQ Short Rib Bao (Dhs45), a delightful twist on the classic tamago sando with the Kimchi Sando (Dhs35), and an irresistible Crack Pie (Dhs25).

What sets PHAT apart is its promise to keep foodies on the edge of their seats. This culinary escapade will take on the form of clandestine hideaways throughout the coming year, offering guests a unique and ever-changing experience. The journey begins with a limited three-month residency in the heart of creativity, Alserkal Avenue, where food enthusiasts can immerse themselves in a world of gastronomic wonder.

Sheikha AlMheiri, the Founder and owner of MAD Hospitality, said, “PHAT embodies our passion for bold flavours and creative escapades. It celebrates the younger generation, free-spirited artists, and street culture, effortlessly combined with Neo-Asian cuisine, all while igniting a sense of curiosity and excitement that drives our guests to seek an extraordinary experience.”

PHAT will be located at Alserkal Avenue from 2nd October to 31st December 2023
