If you’ve spent any time scrolling through social media, chances are you’ve come across Beki. The Tunisian-born, Dubai-based content creator doesn’t just seek adventure—she lives and breathes it, scaling mountains, pushing physical limits, and embracing cultures through food. But as she continues to chase the world’s highest peaks, she also faces a different kind of challenge: navigating her passion for extreme adventure while honoring the traditions of Ramadan.

Crafting a New Home in Dubai

Dubai’s fast-paced environment has been Beki’s playground for the past five years, but Ramadan brings with it a wave of nostalgia.

“At first, it was really difficult,” she admits. “I grew up in a big family—we’re eight people! And in Tunisia, even your neighbors feel like family. Ramadan was all about that warmth and connection.”

But instead of longing for what was, Beki has worked to build that same sense of community in Dubai. “I’ve found friends who became family. Now, hosting iftars is one of my favorite things. It’s like Thanksgiving for people who aren’t used to Ramadan—you want to make it special for them.”

For Beki, home isn’t a place; it’s the people she surrounds herself with, no matter where she is in the world.

A New Year’s Like No Other

For most, ringing in the New Year means parties, fireworks, and champagne toasts. For Beki, it meant something far more grueling—an eight-day trek up Africa’s tallest peak.

“No phone signal, no showers, nothing,” she says, recounting the experience. “And the craziest part? We started our summit on New Year’s Eve and reached the top on January 1st. Starting the year at the highest point in Africa? That was pretty special.”

The journey was anything but easy. “We had altitude sickness, exhaustion, freezing temperatures. Your body is fighting against you. But when you push through and reach that peak, it’s the best feeling in the world.”

And she’s not stopping there. Everest looms on the horizon, an ambitious goal that Beki knows requires more training, more experience, and more lessons learned from each climb.

The Reality Behind the Highlight Reel

To the outside world, Beki’s life looks like a never-ending adventure—one breathtaking summit after another. But as a full-time content creator, she’s acutely aware of the pitfalls of social media.

“Freelancing is a double-edged sword. I love being in control of my time, but sometimes I lose control,” she admits. “It’s a very thin line—either you’re making the most of your time, or you’re wasting it.”

To keep herself in check, she tracks her screen time relentlessly. “It’s on my phone wallpaper, so every time I unlock my phone, I see how many hours I’ve spent scrolling.”

Beki understands that behind every stunning video and awe-inspiring post is the challenge of balance—the need to be present in real life while keeping up with the demands of a digital career.

Using Her Voice for More Than Adventure

Beyond the adrenaline rush, Beki is committed to using her platform for causes that matter—particularly when it comes to Palestine.

“Growing up in Tunisia, we were always taught about Palestine. In school, whenever something happened, we’d take a moment of silence, raise the Palestinian flag. Now, with a platform of my own, I feel a responsibility to use my voice.”

She acknowledges the difficulty of cutting through misinformation online. “False news spreads six times faster than real news. That means we have to work even harder to share the truth.”

For Beki, advocacy isn’t separate from adventure—it’s just another summit she’s determined to climb.

What’s Next?

More mountains. More extreme sports. More testing her limits.

“I’m experimenting with how far I can go,” she says with a grin.

At just 25, Beki has already conquered peaks—both literal and metaphorical—that many only dream of. Whether she’s fasting in the middle of an adventure, scaling new heights, or speaking out on issues close to her heart, one thing is certain: she’s making every moment count.
