The Venue
From the moment we arrived, the venue felt like a treat for the senses. The restaurant’s design is a beautiful mix of cultural touches—think intricate patterns, earthy tones, and subtle nautical accents—that perfectly complement its beachfront location. Dining alfresco under the open sky, with the soft glow of lanterns and the warmth of heaters added to the overall experience.

The Culinary Experience
The menu is a celebration of Lebanese and Armenian flavours, showcasing dishes that are both authentic and innovative, made with the freshest ingredients and a lot of heart.
We started with the Manti, delicate Armenian-style meat dumplings served with a tangy yoghurt sauce and a drizzle of tomato sauce- rich yet refreshing, and utterly delicious.
The highlight of the evening, however, was the Kebbeh Nayeh Almayass. This Lebanese dish had been on my must-try list for a while, and was so glad Almayass was the place where I finally experienced it. The raw meat paste, mixed with bulgur and a hint of chilli paste, was incredibly smooth and flavourful. Served with warm bread and a generous helping of garlic toum, it was adelightful bite. For the main course, we shared the Mixed Grill platter-tender baby veal, succulent shish tawouk, and perfectly seasoned kebab. Each element was grilled with just the right amount of smokiness and spice.
Dessert was the Osmaliyat Almayass– crispy toasted osmalieh, creamy ashta with lemon petal jam and a drizzle of sugar syrup. It was sweet without being overwhelming and the perfect way to end the meal.

The Verdict
With its impeccable service, exquisite dishes, and a setting that feels both luxurious and welcoming, Almayass by the Sea is a must-visit. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Almayass or new to its charms, this seaside gem promises a dining experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more.
