Dubai’s food connoisseurs are in for a delightful experience this November as two of the region’s most cherished culinary establishments, 3Fils and Vietnamese Foodies, team up for a one-night-only dining event that promises to tantalise the taste buds. Set to take place on 27th November, this evening of culinary fusion will showcase an extraordinary blend of modern Asian and authentic Vietnamese flavours in an exclusive open-air setting at the picturesque Jumeirah Fishing Harbour.
A Collaborative Culinary Adventure
Hosted by Samantha Wood, the celebrated founder of Foodiva and one of the UAE’s most respected food critics, this event is part of the Dining Duet Collaboration Series—a unique initiative that brings together renowned chefs to create multi-course dining experiences, each one spotlighting the harmony between diverse culinary styles. For this evening, Chef Lily Hoa Nguyen of Vietnamese Foodies and Chef Jhovani Manalo of 3Fils have crafted a bespoke eight-course menu, each dish thoughtfully curated to showcase their individual talents while celebrating a shared passion for inventive cuisine.
A Glimpse of the Menu
Guests will begin their dining journey with a selection of inspired starters designed to set the tone for a memorable meal. Expect inventive small plates like Trio Summer Rolls and Duck Sausage wrapped in Japo Leaf, an intriguing start to the evening that marries textures and fresh flavours. For the main courses, highlights include A5 Wagyu Pho, an indulgent take on the classic Vietnamese soup, and 3Fils’ signature Kushiyaki skewers. Dessert lovers are in for a treat too, with indulgent sweets such as the African Powerhouse and Panna Cotta squares topped with tropical fruit, a fitting finale to this unique dining experience.
