As the world’s leaders and experts gather for COP28 at Expo City Dubai from 30th November to 12th December, addressing the crucial issue of climate change, The Citronelle Club is preparing to offer a unique culinary experience that focuses on this year’s COP28 commitments including actionable solutions for environmental challenges.

In keeping with COP28’s stringent sustainability criteria, The Citronelle Club is taking significant steps to minimise waste and environmental impact. Plastic water bottles are notably absent, and all packaging is eco-friendly. Furthermore, delivery logistics are meticulously planned to reduce the carbon footprint, a commitment shared by all Ennismore properties involved. The Citronelle Club’s participation adds a flavourful dimension to the event.

The Citronelle Club is creating a buzz at COP28 with its fusion cuisine, combining Pan-Asian flavours with a French flair. This exclusive dining experience aims to highlight the restaurant’s dedication to diversity and sustainability, aligning perfectly with the ethos of COP28.

The menu at The Citronelle Club is a gastronome’s delight, featuring expertly crafted signature dim sum. Highlights include:

  • Omani Shrimp & Scallop Siu, bursting with the flavours of the sea.
  • Chicken Xiao Long Bao, a blend of tender chicken, ginger, and black vinegar.
  • The Jiang-Nan Crystal Dumpling, with its mix of vegetables and black fungus mushroom, is a testament to culinary finesse.
  • Lucky 8 Salad, a vibrant mix of crispy duck, seasonal vegetables, and passionfruit citrus, showcase the restaurant’s ability to fuse diverse flavours.
  • The Crunchy Som Tum Salad, a fusion of local organic ingredients with Thai dressing, is another must-try.

Ennismore is also introducing More&More, a concept that celebrates sustainability and local flavours. This initiative is led by Chef Trisha Singh Henault of 25hrs Hotel and Pastry Chef Laure Dumas of SO/ Uptown Dubai. They offer a delightful pastry and kombucha pairing experience, catering to those with a sweet tooth. Options include Milk Chocolate and Salted Caramel Banana Cake or Dates and Caramel Eclair, amongst others.
