This collaboration reimagines Etro’s signature motifs through Wolford’s refined craftsmanship, resulting in a stunning collection that embraces the body’s natural form with exquisite artistry.
At the heart of this collection are three standout motifs: Paisley Tattoo, Paisley Baroque, and Metallic Jacquard.
- Paisley Tattoo, first revealed during Etro’s Fall/Winter 2024 co-ed fashion show, is a bold play on light and shadow. This striking pattern is made possible through Wolford’s innovative Sheer Opaque technique, a meticulous process that uses circular knit constructions and a precise shaving method to create contrasting textures. Available in two-tone black-chocolate and black-grey colourways, Paisley Tattoo mimics the look of a real tattoo, blending opaque and transparent elements for a daring, skin-like effect.
- Paisley Baroque showcases Etro’s signature paisley pattern in three-dimensional detail. Woven into Wolford’s luxurious Satin de Luxe fabric, this motif appears in rich shades of cream, burgundy, and grey. The ultra-stretch jersey fabric, known for its lightweight yet lustrous quality, brings out the multicoloured pattern’s complexity. Each piece is unique, thanks to subtle variations in the weave that highlight the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship.
- Metallic Jacquard channels Etro’s opulent textile traditions through shimmering metallic threads. Copper, silver, and gold yarns are woven into circular knit constructions, creating luminous tone-on-tone contrasts against deep black bases.
