Like many of you, I first came across Mai on my phone, following her bright smile, funny videos, and her candid videos with her mum. But it wasn’t until I saw a video of her friend cutting her beautiful hair – raw, unfiltered, deeply real – that I realised there was so much more to her than what we usually see on a screen.
